1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting a repair request, or using our services in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not use our services.


2. Services Provided

We provide diagnostics, repair, and related services for electronic devices. All repairs are subject to approval of an estimate.


3. Estimates and Payment

  • Estimates are based on initial inspection and may change.

  • Additional issues require approval before proceeding.

  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • A diagnostic fee may apply if repair is declined.


4. Device Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

You acknowledge your device may have pre-existing damage.

We are not responsible for:

  • Structural weakness

  • Prior repairs

  • Hidden/internal issues

Additional damage may occur during repair due to device condition.


5. Data Loss & Backup

You are solely responsible for backing up your data.

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss

  • Data corruption

  • Software issues


6. Privacy & Device Access

Technicians may have incidental access to data during repair.

  • You should remove sensitive information

  • Passcodes may be required for testing

  • If access is not provided, functionality cannot be guaranteed


7. Parts & Manufacturer Disclaimer

We may use:

  • OEM parts

  • Aftermarket parts

Aftermarket parts may affect:

  • Face ID / Touch ID

  • True Tone

  • Software warnings

Repairs may void manufacturer warranties.


8. High-Risk Repairs (Liquid / Severe Damage)

Devices with liquid or severe damage are repaired on a best-effort basis.

No guarantee of full functionality is provided.


9. Repair Timeframes

All timelines are estimates and may vary due to:

  • Parts availability

  • Supplier delays

  • Device condition


10. Post-Repair Inspection

You must inspect your device upon return.

Acceptance confirms the repair was completed satisfactorily.


11. Warranty

  • Covers only the specific repair performed

  • Does NOT cover:

    • Physical damage

    • Water damage

    • Misuse

  • Void if opened by third party


12. Refund Policy

All completed repairs are non-refundable.

Warranty remedies are limited to repair or replacement.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid

  • We are not liable for:

    • Lost data

    • Lost profits

    • Loss of use

    • Indirect or consequential damages


14. Abandoned Devices

Devices not picked up within 30 days may be considered abandoned.

We may sell or dispose of them to recover costs.


15. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service at our sole discretion.


16. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without allowing resolution may result in collections.


17. Franchise Location Disclaimer

Techy-branded locations may be independently owned and operated.

  • Each location is solely responsible for its services

  • Liability is limited to the servicing location

  • Techy LLC is not responsible for franchisee actions

    Independently owned franchise locations agree to indemnify and hold harmless Techy LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their operations, services, or conduct.


18. No Agency Relationship

Nothing creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency between Techy LLC and any location.


19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Techy LLC from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of services

  • Your breach of these Terms


20. Dispute Resolution

All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Florida.

You waive:

  • Jury trial

  • Class action participation


21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida.


22. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Certain Techy and DrPhoneFix locations operate within or near Walmart stores and may be independently owned and operated franchise businesses.


Responsibility for Services

All services are performed by the specific store location where your device is serviced.

Each location is solely responsible for:

  • Its employees

  • Its operations

  • Its service quality


Franchisor Liability

Techy LLC:

  • Does not control day-to-day operations of franchise locations

  • Is not liable for acts, errors, or omissions of independently owned locations


No Affiliation with Walmart

Walmart Inc.:

  • Does not provide repair services

  • Is not responsible for Techy services

  • Has no liability for customer claims


Customer Responsibility

All service-related issues must be directed to the servicing location.
