Community Spotlight
The American Dream is often defined by opportunity, but for Ismail Hossain, it has always been about connection. At just 22 years old, Ismail is bringing a fresh vision to the neighborhood as he opens the doors to the newest Techy location in South Miramar.
Ismail’s journey began four years ago when he moved to the United States from Bangladesh. Growing up in a vibrant family of seven, alongside his parents, two brothers, and two sisters, he learned early on the value of a close-knit community. It is this exact spirit of looking out for one’s neighbors that he is now weaving into the fabric of his new business.
Driven by a Passion for Repair
For Ismail, technology has never been just a tool; it has been a lifelong fascination. Rather than simply using devices, he spent years working in tech stores to master the intricate details of hardware repair.
He understands that in the modern world, a broken phone or a malfunctioning laptop is more than just a technical glitch; it represents a broken link to family, work, and precious memories. By turning his technical interests into a career, Ismail has dedicated himself to being the person who restores those vital connections.
A Partnership Built on Family and Trust
Ismail is not embarking on this venture alone. He has partnered with his uncle, Sakhouth Hossain. Sakhouth, 40, brings a wealth of life experience to the team. After moving from Bangladesh seven years ago, Sakhouth spent years in New York City working for Uber to support his wife and two children.
The duo represents a perfect blend of perspectives. Ismail is the tech-savvy specialist who speaks English, Bangla, and Spanish, while Sakhouth is a professional with a deep love for his faith, cricket, and football. Despite their different backgrounds, they share a singular mission: to build a business that genuinely helps the people in their community.
Serving South Miramar
The choice of South Miramar was a deliberate one. After consulting with the Techy franchise team, Ismail and Sakhouth recognized a unique opportunity to provide specialized service in an area they truly cared about. They worked diligently to secure the only available Techy store in South Florida, driven by the belief that this community deserves a repair shop that feels as welcoming as a neighbor’s home.
A Multilingual Promise
When residents walk into the South Miramar store, they are not just customers; they are treated as members of the extended Hossain family. Whether someone needs a screen replaced, wants to discuss the latest sports scores, or requires a repair explained in English, Bangla, or Spanish, Ismail and Sakhouth are ready to help.
Having traveled across the world to build this business, they are now focused on one goal: helping their neighbors in South Miramar stay connected to what matters most.
